STC-GSM2xx is a GSM converter designed to provide an uplink for residential or SOHO location against existing GSM network. With high sensitivity to receive signal and large transmitting power to expand it can cover even the most suburban areas. It can be used not only in communication for vehicles such as automobiles, trains, floating vehicles, etc., but also in communication for construction sites, and rural areas where copper-line telephone service is unavailable.
The STC-GSM2xx can allow for fixed line carriers to migrate away from expensive copper infrastructure. It can also offer a fixed line experience services for carrier without copper access.
Since the local two wire copper access in a home/building can be used, the end customer, or carrier, does not need to invest in new, or more handsets.
